Innovations continue to come from OmniPayments

After a highly successful LATUG for NonStop users of Latin America was held in Santiago, Chile, posts and commentaries continue to be made on popular social media sites including Twitter and LinkedIn. The most recent post to LinkedIn, contained a link to a video made during the event and is proving to be a highlight reel for those who may have missed the event. The success of this event certainly didn’t surprise those close to the market. OmniPayments focus on Latin America has resulted in new customers being won for NonStop even as OmniPayments is responsible for many of the recent NonStop deployments – yes, OmniPayments is a full-fledged VAR in this market and continues to move NonStop systems and HPE just has to be very pleased to see how well OmniPayments is succeeding in a very competitive and price sensitive marketplace.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of all is OmniPayments push into cloud delivery. When you consider the work that has to go into new accounts’ wins for OmniPayments and NonStop, PoCs and Pilots are going on pretty much continuously. Being able to test out a new solution on the basis of SaaS and where ultimately, following a decision to deploy OmniPayments products including OmniSwitch in a production environment serving real customers, prospects can now turn to OmniPayments to run their selected features from out of the OmniPayments cloud.

OmniCloudX, the OmniPayments cloud offering, is a new way for many financial institutions and retailers to look at building out their IT support without huge upfront investments in technology – OmniPayments makes that commitment for them and OmniPayments is succeeding with its cloud offering as it continues to build out OmniCloudX using the new NonStop X systems. Even as this is taking place it is anticipated that OmniPayments will be one of the earliest to capitalize on virtualized NonStop of all of the NonStop solutions vendors and OmniPayments is taking steps already to explore this option.

We all like surprises when they turn out in our favor and the journey OmniPayments is pursuing will provide benefits to all of its customers. Cloud computing models are gradually making their presence felt within the data center and when it comes to supporting financial institutions and retailers, OmniPayments wants to ensure they have options and those options will continue to center on NonStop. Surprised?
